ClickandFish is a website to bring together fishermen and the places they would love to fish. By matching the two ClickandFish will bring your fishery new clients not just once, but for years to come.

You will benefit from additional income from fishermen who may never have found out about your great fishery without the internet presence of ClickandFish which gives you the sort of reach small businesses in retail get through the likes of Google or Yahoo.

STEP 1 SIGNING UP

Once you have decided ClickandFish will work for your fishery there is a minimum amount of paperwork. No payment or financial obligation is required from you. For more details complete the enquiry form at Signing Up Enquiry

STEP 2 GETTING YOUR FISHERY ON THE ClickandFish WEB SITE

Our web site team do all the technical work to put your fishery on ClickandFish. We will contact you to get the details required – prices, opening times, photos, address, directions, contact details and so on.  There is check list to help get the information prepared. We will spend time talking to you to get the entry 100% right because, in the end, the better it looks the more people will want to fish with you.

STEP 3  SETTING UP THE CALENDAR

Again our web team do all the technical wizardry. All you need to do is tell us the days/dates you want to sell tickets and we put them on the calendar. You can give us dates for a week ahead, a month ahead or a year ahead, whatever suits you. Of course, the more dates you give us the more we can sell! Once the days are sold, our site automatically blocks out those dates so there is no worry about double bookings.

STEP 4 THAT’S IT

That really is it. We are now live and ready to start taking bookings on your behalf. Let me just take you through how ClickandFish works for you on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.

DAY-BY-DAY

The beauty of ClickandFish is that once you are set up on the web site much of the administration, paperwork and payment just happens. It doesn’t require any daily oversight by you. However, there will be times when you may want to change things and you will definitely need to know who is fishing and when.

Handling bookings – once a ticket is sold we will let you know by email or text. The message will give you the name, date and unique booking reference for each new booking. Our on-line diary ticks down each time a booking is made, so once we have filled a date it is taken off the calendar.

Calendar changes – if you need to take a date off the calendar for any reason, maybe you are arranging a match for that day or you have sold all the tickets yourself. A quick phone call, email or text to the ClickandFish team will have the date off the calendar within a few moments.

Changes to your ClickandFish entry – we know things change all the time and so your website entry is very flexible. If you need to change your prices or update some details a quick call or email to the ClickandFish team can have it done immediately. There are no fees for changes and no limit to how often you can make changes.

Feedback – we like to keep in contact with everyone who fishes so you will get regular feedback from your fishermen via ClickandFish.

MONTH-BY-MONTH

Money matters – at the end of each month you will receive a statement from ClickandFish detailing the bookings made that month. The money due to you will be paid directly into your bank account.

Special offers – on the basis that everyone likes a bargain, ClickandFish runs regular special promotions. If you have some down time you want to fill or maybe a new facility you want to promote this is a great way to drive bookings your way. Our marketing team will be in regular contact with you to give your fishery special promotion on the site or you can let us know when you want a boost. No charge for this.

Fishery of the week – everyone gets a chance at this, strictly by rotation. It’s your opportunity to push your fishery to a new audience. The ClickandFish team will work with you to create an eye catching display. Again no charge for this, just part of the great ClickandFish service.

Newsletter – thousands and thousands of committed fishermen receive our regular email Newsletter. It features news, promotions, competitions, guest columns and masses more.

YEAR-BY-YEAR

When you sign up for the first time we ask you to sign up for a year, though you may cancel at anytime during the year without obligation. When the year is up, we invite you to re-sign for another year. We hope that you will be so happy with ClickandFish that it is an easy decision to make, but regardless of that it will be a good chance to review how things have gone.

Can our fishery carry on selling day tickets as we have in the past?
Absolutely! Think of ClickandFish is an additional source of revenue rather than a competitor to your current marketing – we intend to bring you new customers.

Do I need ClickandFish if we have our own web site?
ClickandFish is an additional source of revenue rather than a competitor to your current clients. We aim to bring you new clients who have never visited you before. If you have a web site ClickandFish will link our clients to your site.

How does ClickandFish make money?
ClickandFish receives a commission payment from the fishery every time a booking is made. The commission payment is included the advertised price.

How does it work?
ClickandFish is an internet booking service run for fisheries large and small, be they clubs, associations, private waters or commercial organisations. The web site stores information of each fishery that an angler can call up by location, species of fish, type of fishing, date, cost and so on. Once the angler is satisfied with his choice he will click, pay and with an email confirmation the fishery details are sent back to him by return and he will be ready to go fishing.

The fishery will receive confirmation of the booking (each has a unique booking reference) and the calendar will tick down the number of places available until the fishery is full on that particular date when no further bookings will be taken.

Talk me through how an angler might use the site
OK. Let’s say you are a chap who lives in Cheshire, but is working away from home in Berkshire and wants to find a carp lake for next Sunday. 

Click onto www.clickandfish.co.uk Look down the left hand column, click Coarse Fishing, then click Berkshire, then click on carp lakes. This process will take a couple of seconds to take you to a page that lists all the carp lakes in Berkshire.

There will be a photo of each and a fact file with details of the fishing, prices, facilities, maps and so on. Pick the one you like, click on the Check a Date button that takes you to the calendar that shows availability. Pick your date, enter your details and credit card onto the secure system. You are nearly finished.

Want to take a friend? You can book for as many people as the fishery shows available. Once you are happy with your choice, press CONFIRM and within a moment or two you will receive an email back with your full confirmation pack.

Tell me how my fishery signs up
Contract: Once we have agreed terms there is a simple two page contract. All contracts are for 12 months.

Information about your fishery: With your help we will create a profile of your fishery on the web site. We can do this over the phone, by email or post. We do not make a site visit.

Prices: You set the prices.

Fishing calendar: You tell us the dates you want to sell and we enter them on the system. If a date becomes unavailable for any reason you inform us by email, text or fax and we take it off the system.

Confirmed bookings: Every time a booking comes in you will be informed by email, fax or text message.

Payment: We settle accounts monthly with your full day ticket income less any commission charges, credit card fees and VAT paid directly into your bank account.

Can our fishery web site link to the ClickandFish booking system?
Yes. You can use our on-line booking technology on your site to increase revue, plus saving you time and administration.

Can ClickandFish save me time?
Yes, and possibly money. No longer will you have to field phone calls, answer letters, send out maps, pay for advertising and bank cheques. As far as possible ClickandFish is a paperless process that enables you to maximise your day ticket sales.

Does ClickandFish vet or inspect the fisheries on the site?
No. However, all anglers are invited to fill in a feedback form after each visit. Fisheries that get bad reports will be removed from the site.

Does the angler pay for the service?
No. There is no booking fee to charge to any angler using the site. All costs are included in the day ticket price. There are no hidden extras.

What is the cost to the fisheries?
There is no cost to add your fishery to the ClickandFish web site.

Is there a booking fee for the angler?
No.

What sort of anglers would use ClickandFish?
All anglers will use the site as all types of fishing are featured – freshwater, sea, river, lake, coarse, fly …. In fact, if there a fish in your water you should be on ClickandFish!

Why is it better than a telephone?
It is not better than a telephone necessarily, but ClickandFish offers another marketing route for fisheries.

Will my fishery get new customers?
Definitely. ClickandFish will have a high visibility on the web with Google, Yahoo, search engines, keywords and active on-line marketing. There will be a brand building campaign featured through road shows at angling fairs, trade shows and the angling press

Is it easy to use?
We hope so! But with every on-line system you learn from your customers. Nothing is set in stone so as ClickandFish expands the site will change to reflect the differing needs of our anglers and fisheries.

Does it cost the customer anything to sign up?
No. It is a free to use web site.

What type of fisheries will enrol with ClickandFish?
There is a place for every type of fishery that wants to raise some extra income from day tickets. Clubs, societies, private fisheries, river owners, competition organisers, syndicates or anyone with an interest in the financial well-being of a section of fishing may benefit.

Is it only about money?
No. Clearly ClickandFish has to make money from commission to be viable, but we intend that it will be a destination web site for anglers which will host forums, on-line chats with celebrity anglers, newsletters, special offers, competitions with tackle prizes and much more. The more people visit the site the more fishing they will book.

Some more details about how the money side of things work at ClickandFish:

TICKET PRICES ON THE WEBSITE
You tell ClickandFish what your prices are and that is what we sell them at. There are no add-ons, booking fees or extras. We believe in fair pricing.

PAYMENT BY THE ANGLER
The angler pays ClickandFish by credit card via the web site at the time of booking. No additional payment is made when the anglers arrives at the fishery on the day of fishing. There are no refunds or cancellations, so you receive payment regardless of whether the angler turns up or not.

PAYMENT TO YOU
At the end of each month ClickandFish pays you for all the tickets sold at your fishery during the month, less the ClickandFish commission.

PAPERWORK
Sadly there is some! At the end of each month we send you a summary of all the names and dates of everyone who has booked that month, plus how much they have paid

ARE YOU VAT REGISTERED?
NO. Most fisheries are not VAT registered so there are no VAT implications.

YES. If you are VAT registered ClickandFish will sell your fishing at the VAT inclusive price and you will be able to claim the VAT element in our fees back on your quarterly return.
